How Fingertip Pulse Oximeter M170 works

The device uses light emitting diodes (LEDs) to shine red and infrared light through the fingertip. These lights pass through the blood vessels, and the amount of light that reaches the sensor on the other side of the fingertip is measured. This information is then used to calculate the oxygen saturation level of the blood.
