Why the device shows an "Lo" message during testing?
**“Lo” means that the blood sample is insufficient.** Because the device uses pre-sterilized safety lancets for hygienic, single-use testing, we recommend warming and gently massaging your finger before testing to help improve blood circulation. Press the safety lancet firmly against the fingertip to obtain a sufficient blood drop, then apply the blood to the test strip in one continuous application. Avoid adding blood in multiple drops.
Is the LPM102 as accurate as a hospital lab test?
Our device uses capillary blood from a fingertip, while laboratory tests typically use venous blood drawn from the arm. Because the sample types and testing methods are different, results may vary between home testing and laboratory testing. Use this device to monitor your lipid levels and track trends over time, such as changes associated with diet and lifestyle, between routine clinical checkups. It is intended for personal monitoring and wellness tracking, not for clinical diagnosis.
